Terms and Conditions

This sweepstakes is organized by Automattic Inc. (“Automattic”) and is open to people aged 18 and over. The sweepstakes begins on May 8, 2025 at 9:00a UTC and ends on May 16, 2025 at 10:00a UTC. To enter, participants must tag and follow @automattic.design on Instagram and use hashtag #CreatorsInFocus in an Instagram post. Alternatively, you may enter by submitting your email address via this form. There are no maximum entries. By participating in this sweepstakes, each entrant agrees to release, discharge, and hold harmless Instagram and Automattic from any and all claims, losses, and liabilities arising from or in connection with this sweepstakes or participation in the promotion. Entrants acknowledge that this promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram. Winner will be selected randomly from all eligible entries received and will be announced on May 16, 2025. Winner will be notified via direct message on Instagram within 24 hours of the drawing. Winners must respond within 14 days to claim their prize. Automattic reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Participation in this sweepstakes constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

Prize Details

Prize has no cash value. The winner will be offered the opportunity to work with Automattic’s Special Projects team to build a custom portfolio site. The site build project will be kicked off at a mutually agreed-upon time between Automattic and the winner, with a mutually agreed-upon timeline for completion, and will include:

• Consultation with an Automattic designer to select an appropriate WordPress theme.
• Customization and implementation of the chosen theme.
• One year of complimentary hosting on WordPress.com with the Business plan, which includes a free custom domain for one year.
• Build out of up to ten pages of the custom site.

The site is intended for the winner’s personal use. It will not include ecommerce elements unless they’re set up and configured by the winner.

The winner will retain complete ownership and control over the completed site.
